From Tech to Common Core![]() An early adopter of both educational technology, Common Core, and other instructional methods, I am happy to have had the opportunity to share what I know. I am a California Teacher of the Year and will be recognized in March as the 2015 CUE Outstanding Teacher. My students are also award winning, recognized most recently with a 2014 California Media Festival award for Best Storytelling. Their film, "Lost Ships," premiered at the Palm Springs International Short Fest during June 2014 as part of the DigiCom Film Festival Showcase.
Other Training Resources:Please feel free to download any of these other training resources that were made available during sessions. All files are PDF, so they are readable on any device.

Where to Find Student-Created Video Samples:In workshops and sessions, I frequently show samples of student-created work. I think it's powerful for teachers to see real products made by real kids in an average classroom. Some of the presentations on this page are exported Keynotes, in which the multimedia components were not preserved for viewing. All of the student-work samples may be found in one of two places:
My Vimeo Channel: Room 208![]() You can view the work of JWMS AV Club students on this channel, and some of the best work from students in my core classes (Language Arts and Social Studies).
My Classroom Website: Room 208![]() All exemplary student work has been uploaded to my classroom website and appears under the multimedia tab.
