Who is Packwoman?
My name is Jessica Pack and I teach 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies at a middle school in Cathedral City, CA. Currently, I teach in a 1:1 Chromebook environment supplemented with iPads. I was named 2015 CUE Outstanding Teacher, 2014 California Teacher of the Year, and 2014 Riverside County Teacher of the Year. For several years on Sunday evenings at 8pm, you could find me on Twitter as a co-founder and co-moderator of #caedchat. Now, I am pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Technology through Boise State University. My interest in gamification continues to grow at light speed, and I'm exploring the use of Minecraft: Education Edition in the classroom as a 2018 Global Minecraft Mentor.

Currently, I live in Banning, CA with my husband, Brandon, who is an elementary Special Education teacher. Together we have two obnoxious cats we adore and a plethora of mobile devices.
